Hello everyone!

We have bought a new Nolte kitchen and have now noticed a whitish, several centimeters wide coating on the underside of the countertop, specifically on the side where the dishwasher, sink, and a drawer front are located. The coating is also applied very irregularly in some areas, as can be seen in the photos. Is this actually, as claimed by the dealer, a protective layer applied over the entire length of the countertop, not just at the dishwasher? If so, is it normal for it to show such irregularities? Or was the work done carelessly?

Insane irregularities... Definitely complain, after all it is the underside and you almost never see it...

I don't get it now either.
What role is that supposed to play?

How many of you have now bent over just like me and looked more closely at the underside of your countertop? I just had to laugh at the thought. Yes, it looks the same at our place. Even when cleaning, I have never noticed it negatively. There are things...
