KfW interest rate adjustments a advantage?

Hello,

we want to build a KFW 55 house and have accordingly included the €5,000 repayment grant.
Now it is the case that the bank where we want to finance has fortunately lowered the interest rates again and thus, depending on the term, is 0.15 to 0.35% below the KfW interest rate.
Actually nice, but that now also means that the KfW repayment grant is eaten up again by the higher interest rates there
=> KfW is then actually no longer really worthwhile, right?

Do you have any experience how often KfW adjusts interest rates? Is there hope that they will lower their interest rate again in the next few weeks?

Best regards
Stefan

that is pure speculation. Based on experience, KfW does not lower or raise rates as aggressively as regular commercial banks

The grant is awarded independently of the use of a loan and then also in full amount. If you use the loan from [KfW], the grant will be reduced!

In addition to the loan variants with repayment grants, there are also pure grant variants without a house bank and loan in certain funding programs. In that case, you can simply use the house bank directly and apply for the grant only.

Ok, now I understand. But for new construction, it is only for the installation of a fuel cell, right? I haven't found anything else on the KfW page.
