KFW 270 for subsequent photovoltaic system

I am considering installing a photovoltaic system on our garage. We built our property in 2019 and at that time financed it through Allianz. Now it is the case that kfw can only be financed through a bank.

I just spoke with Allianz, they will not offer anything with kfw this year due to an IT upgrade. No idea if that was just an excuse.

The house bank would be Ing-Diba. No idea if they are interested in such a small loan. The amount would be somewhere between 15-20K €.

Does anyone of you possibly have an idea how I can get the funding?

Try it with the ing they will definitely finance you if your credit limit is not fully utilized.

Just called Ing. They do not offer that. Only a regular consumer loan.

Construction loans usually start at €50,000 and KFW is fundamentally unattractive to the bank at first, so I believe it will be difficult. We have therefore included a budget for a photovoltaic system in our financing, but if it becomes tight for reasons not yet apparent, the photovoltaic system would be an option to cut, and then we would be in the same situation. Therefore: exciting topic.

And it is virtually impossible to get KfW subordinated through another bank. The bank then gives you a loan without any collateral (at least mathematically, unless you are already significantly below 60% loan-to-value) for a margin that is not worth the effort. We also categorically reject this.

Thanks for the info. Then I don’t need to put any more energy into searching for another bank. But it is a bit annoying. You could just write that on the KfW website. :) Well, maybe something will still come from our Greens if they really want to achieve their ambitious goals. Regards
