The building materials store carries joint tapes. These are cords that you have to buy in the appropriate diameter (= thickness), you place them in the joint and then fill it with a suitable compound. For example, if you want to seal the floor (epoxy resin ...), you could also close the joint with it.

Here, the butt joints between the individual precast concrete garages are covered with plastic elements. Both the vertical joints and the horizontal ones in the floor. (By the way, also on the outside.) These covers are snapped into the joints with metal clips. We have three garages (two lengthwise, one crosswise).

Point and smooth out. Then prime and paint the entire floor with concrete paint - done! What should expand significantly - the slab is in contact with the ground and is not subject to any relevant temperature fluctuations.
