Is there a hair strainer for shower drains?

I installed the same channel (Geberit CleanLine 20). There is no separate hair strainer, not even as optional accessory. The comb insert under the stainless steel plate is the only "protection".

Are you having the same trouble with your shower channel? Besides using harsh chemicals, I don’t know what else I could do.

No, ours has not been used yet. But I was already a bit puzzled during installation. Unlike drains mounted under shower trays, you practically never get access to the "trap," which is only designed as a bend in the drain. Apparently, the only option is to snake through it...
