Is there a hair strainer for shower drains?

Can't you just remove the cover there? Under the cover in the rail, in the middle, there is a completely normal drain at our place. Take a photo :)

that should be our shower channel. When you reach into the round "hole," there is water, and you only get into the "box."

An insert that you can put under the cover to catch everything that doesn't get stuck on the spikes under the cover would be good. But something like that doesn't seem to exist.

Exactly into this hole goes the odor stopper and the sieve. Then the box will no longer fit.

But isn't that fixed in place? You can't just take it out that easily...

That's really annoying, I seriously have concerns about how well the water will drain in a few years. The solution can't be to wash your hair in the sink (I seriously found that recommendation online).

Installed the same channel (Geberit CleanLine 20). There is no separate hair strainer, not even as an optional accessory. The comb insert under the stainless steel plate is the only "protection".

No, but before - before showering - to brush and then, as usual, to put the hair from the brush into the trash :)
