Hello everyone,
we are in the middle of building a single-family house with almost 180 sqm of living space and two full floors (flat roof). The clear room height on the ground floor is 2.74 m, and in the upper floor 2.55 m.
Now we have to decide how the plastering should be done. Our general contractor includes Q2 as standard. However, we would like to avoid wallpaper/fiber fleece, as we want the walls to be nicely smooth without texture (or are there very smooth wallpapers as well?)
The general contractor wants an additional charge of 8.10 EUR for plastering in Q3 instead of Q2, which seems very high to us. Calculated with the 180 sqm and the average clear room height, that means additional costs of over 5,300 EUR.
Is the surcharge normal or too high? Or are there perhaps other ideas on how we could solve this issue?
Thank you very much and best regards.
