I consider this a subtlety of the general contractor. The term "barrier-light" is only used as a fallback when a component (or an entire building) does not fully qualify as "barrierfree" in every respect (example: level-access shower (barrier-free), but with 80x80 too small, so overall only barrier-light).

For a lift-and-slide door, barrier-free accessibility results from the absence of a threshold and the (possibly motor-assisted) operation. Since I assume that special attention was not paid to the operation (these are usually special solutions), the lift-and-slide door can only qualify as "barrier-light" based on the threshold, which means a maximum of 20mm.
