Moving afterwards is not possible?

Our developer did it the other way around. Warned us not to position it near the bedroom.

Good evening,
if the measurement of 46dB(A) at 6 meters is correct, the device has a sound power level of 66-69dB (depending on the Q-factor / directional factor). Therefore, it is not a particularly quiet device. Without specifying the kW power, however, this cannot be classified. "Normal" devices for a single-family house should have a sound power level of around 50-55dB according to the state of the art. At 55dB, 34dB would reach the bedroom window. This would then be permissible for a purely residential area. Since you are disturbing yourselves and – I hope – not the neighbors, it actually does not matter, except that you cannot sleep.
The only option remains to purchase a "modern" quiet device according to the state of the art. Of course, these are not cheaper than loud ones.

Before replacing the entire heat pump, I would rather consider relocating it or whether an enclosure is an option.
