Hello,
our house is planned and the energy consultant has already done some calculations. However, he did not really want to commit regarding the cost-effectiveness of the construction project. We achieve KFW 55 standard with the following setup:
Floor: No basement, perimeter insulation under the floor slab
Walls: Sand-lime brick 17.5 cm; 14 cm insulation, 1.5 cm air gap, 11.5 cm clinker
Windows: Triple glazing
Heating: Ground-source heat pump with combined storage for hot water; underfloor heating throughout the whole house.
Additionally, a solar system (7.9 sqm) for hot water preparation in the combined storage tank.
We will get a fireplace anyway, it can have water pockets but this was not taken into account in the calculations.
Now my question: Without the solar system, we do not reach Kfw 55 but Kfw 70. The energy consultant says that the solar system is only economically viable from 3.5 persons in the household.
Can someone say something about the approximate costs? In other words, do I have to invest much more than the €2,500 I save with KFW 55?
Does a fireplace with water pockets make sense in this constellation?
Many thanks for experiences and feedback on my questions
