No, we have no soundproofing at all or just normal. We have a timber frame house from 2006.

This belongs in the house sales conversation between insulation values of the walls, burglary protection classes and COP of the heat pump, and the difference between normal, green and blue drywall panels, panel thicknesses and single and double layering.

Yes, when it comes to sound/noise, the wind (besides the immediate distance) is a very big factor.

Recommendation: bedroom on the side away from the noise.

I once lived on the 9th floor right in front of a church tower. Sleeping in was out of the question. My wife never heard anything.
