But they could at least pay me a portion for my mini excavator
I would prefer 20% of the materials

I recently read that you can deduct 20,000 euros for household-related services, including a portion of 6,000 euros for craft services. Cleaning help is therefore extra (in addition to the 6,000 euros), as is the move.Up to 6,000 euros of labor costs after moving in and re-registration. No materials and other household-related services like cleaning help are also included. You may need to split more than twice
It was not like that for us. We saved a lot of money by outsourcing, among other things because the landscaper gave us the materials with his price advantage. But everyone has to calculate that for themselves. If you do it yourself it is significantly cheaper than if you have it done. You only get 20% of the labor costs or still working time for machines used and travel costs. The material is not reimbursed proportionally by the tax office.
I know it like that too, but I find the limits per year rather strange. In my opinion, swapping the amounts would make more sense. When creating outdoor areas, you usually spend 20k€ rather than on services like cleaning or hedge trimming. To shed some light on this (and clear up dangerous half-knowledge): Basically, you can deduct 20% of the labor costs from a) household-related services (garden maintenance, cleaning, ...), but max. 20,000 euros/year, and 20% of the labor costs from b) craftsman services (landscaping, repairs, ...), but here max. 6,000 euros/year.
