So currently it is already the case that no one in Germany can build a car. Except Tesla of course. But for all the others, the production lines are currently at a standstill.

But you won’t forget to share the floor plans and everything at all with us once you have signed a contract, will you? :)

Off topic: Why can Tesla continue building and the others cannot? I love Tesla and just a little while ago I saw a Tesla in the parking lot ... really beautiful. Inside and out.

I trust that capitalism will find ways in the medium term to deal with missing material. Either new sources will be developed, or the material will be used more efficiently, or it will be replaced by something else. Or the demand will decrease due to high prices. In the short term, meaning 1-3 years, there will be one or the other disruption, but that is part of it. For example, no one forced the car industry to distribute their production across all of Europe. That was a business decision and now the entrepreneurial risk of that decision comes into play. Just like it already shredded supply chains in 2020 and this year in China still has some challenges coming for us.

Tesla has the corporate philosophy of vertical integration, meaning keeping as much of the complete chain within the company as possible. That can be done, but it requires that you can produce all the components as well and cheaply as a specialized supplier.
Of the real existing Teslas, I don't find any good, I even find the Model X downright ugly. The Cybertruck would have the most potential.
