I don’t understand the thing about children and the household insurance. Does household insurance pay if my child sets my carpet on fire? Or smashes my living room cabinet with a football?
I don’t think the household insurance would cover that. Or am I mistaken?
You didn’t set the kitchen on fire, did you, or what am I not understanding about your argument right now?
For me, a stolen bike was once covered by it, so the insurance was definitely worth it.
But it’s like with all insurances: if there’s no damage, then it was unnecessary; if something happens, you’re glad to have it.
