Is gypsum plaster or other plaster sufficient for the ventilation system?

Hello everyone,

I am now faced with the question of which plaster we should use for our new house.

Basement rooms or wet rooms are to be plastered with lime-cement plaster.

The question is only, what is most sensible for the rest of the living rooms when you have a ventilation system.

I wonder whether the advantage of an ecological plaster like lime, clay, etc. still justifies the extra cost. After all, the ventilation system ensures a constant air exchange.
What do you think?

Thanks for every answer.

The device doesn't care... it's a matter of belief

I believe that controlled residential ventilation has an influence on the indoor climate that is orders of magnitude more significant than the plaster. And in the hierarchy of importance, the type of interior decoration (upholstered furniture, plants, etc.) comes between controlled residential ventilation and plaster. Therefore, I see no reason to use an expensive clay plaster or the like.

So I only use lime or lime-cement plaster when I do anything. If, for whatever reason, a wall becomes damp, it does not mold. Whether with or without [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], the risk of mold simply goes to zero.
