Hello everyone,
We are planning our new building.
Except for the final painting work, everything will be done by the developer. We will do the wallpapering and painting at the end ourselves with a relative of ours. We will also take care of the outdoor area (garden, terrace, etc.) completely on our own.
Do we already need helper insurance in this case, and do I have to register my relative as a helper with the cooperative? He will not receive any money or anything else for this.
Thank you for your feedback

Counter question: Did you have this issue with any previous move if someone helped you with painting? Germany, nation of the overinsured...

The difference is that a move is done in one day. We ourselves had the experience that the [bg] employees were out weekly in the new development area and carried out inspections; we were lucky that the building was completed turnkey, so he was only there once for an inspection.

I understood that the house is handed over and accepted without wall coverings. After that, it is no longer a construction site but an existing building...
