Is a toilet and urinal at 136 cm width too narrow?

When the interior construction is finished, it appears larger due to the light walls; in fact, however, it is narrower!

I assume it is only a temporary shower on the ground floor? If so, maybe an 80 cm shower would suffice; that would gain you 10 cm, bringing it to 1.46 m. It is still a bit tight, a toilet requires about 80 cm including the pre-wall installation, but it is still airier than with the 90 cm shower tray. I also can't imagine that there should be any "splashing" when using a urinal, especially since the distance the body-warm liquid has to travel is shorter

Yes, the shower is an alternative option. There is another one in the basement... got a better price for the triple pack .

So your suggestion would be shower 80 80 and keep the urinal? Did I understand that correctly?

Morning

I would also solve it the way Bauexperte suggested. To optimize it a bit more, I would go for 75 x 90 cm for a rather rarely used shower and install the fittings on the 75 cm side.

possibly also give up the 3rd shower

My suggestion is that only you must decide; it will be your house! However, if the urinal is important to you, I would definitely reduce the size of the shower on the ground floor. On the other hand, you are now talking about 3 showers - then *I* really wouldn’t have to think long and would leave out the shower on the ground floor. Then your problem wouldn’t even arise Rheinische Grüße

I have never sat on such a thing before. I don’t even know which way you’re supposed to sit on it or whether you have to pull your pants down or if it’s enough to just open the zipper. I’ll have to check in a moment whether they are included in our planning.

You can't either, you stand in front of it (similar to a pub, only nicer and with a lid)
