Is a combi wall connection for suction and exhaust sensible?

Hello forum, we are currently building a KFW40 house with ventilation with heat recovery. The installer wants to install a combined wall socket from Maico for the exhaust air and intake of the ventilation, where the intake and outlet are very close together (please just google Kombi-Wandstutzen, then there is a picture, unfortunately I don’t have one myself yet). Does anyone have experience with this? We can’t imagine that the exhaust air is not at least partially sucked back in?! Otherwise, it is even recommended to separate the pipes around the corner! There is something comparable from Vallox. That is definitely functional.

these combination wall hoods are fully functional. The exhaust air is expelled through a nozzle and the hood sucks in from below. No mixing is possible, as it involves large volumes of air.
