We are currently building and I have a question regarding the screed height. So, we have a 60sqm garage and in the rear part of the garage (about 20sqm) we want to set up a party room. The garage will also be separated by a wall from the drywall installer accordingly. We plan to pour an 8cm thick screed in the party room and 6cm in the front part of the garage where the vehicle is parked. Is 8cm in the party room okay, because of cold feet and such? What do you think?

You can install insulation under your screed so that 8 cm is completely sufficient
