Hello everyone,
we are basically about to buy a Bien prefabricated house from 1979. A building biology report is available, the values are basically okay and not concerning. Nevertheless, I would like to make the house as "healthy" as possible and have the following question: Is it possible to renovate from the inside? Basically remove the drywall, remove the chipboard, take out the insulation. Then shield the wooden studs accordingly with fleece or whatever (there are several options as far as I know – the goal is that the wooden studs, which cannot be removed, at least no longer emit toxic fumes to a large extent), put in new insulation, new chipboard, drywall, and done. Since there is currently no installation layer, I would logically also like to install this at the same time (logically before the drywall).
Is this basically possible? Are there experiences, tips, opinions?
Thanks and regards!
