Insurance for construction helpers?

Do I have to provide special insurance for friends who help on my construction site? Which insurance applies there?

A builder who works on the construction site themselves should definitely have life and accident insurance. For assisting family members and friends, a construction helper insurance can be taken out. Here, the contributions are calculated as a flat rate depending on the number of hours worked.

Do you "have to"? Otherwise your helpers are not insured - helping at their own risk?

We have also insured construction helpers on our construction site. For this, we have taken out accident insurance. I find this insurance extremely important.
