Hello everyone,
I need some tips from you.
Originally, it was planned not to insulate our attic, only the ceiling of the upper floor. Since I am having a controlled residential ventilation system installed, it has to be placed in the frost-free area. Therefore, I need to change the insulation. After consulting with our construction manager, he recommends insulating the entire roof now, and in order to prevent the attic from being excessively heated, the upper floor ceiling as well. Is this okay, or will there not be enough heat coming up later through the insulated ceiling?
