Hi,

so there were already certain energy requirements in 2008.......
How thick is the insulation layer in the ceiling?

If you are still freezing despite having a heater in winter and your door too, then I would get a house doctor to take a look at it. I think something is wrong

First of all, thank you for the previous answers.

The heating is a marble slab heater. As we have noticed so far, it has little effect and consumes a lot of electricity. The automatic stove is in the living room and probably created a cozy warmth there and in the open kitchen, but unfortunately not in the hallway with the mentioned door. The bedrooms remained quite cold, except for the one in which the fireplace went through. The attic stairs (extendable) were not insulated. We managed by placing two Isover mats over the opening. As mentioned: drywall panel, between studs with Isover mat, on top wooden planks, nothing more.

We will have a passive house door installed with a heat transfer coefficient <1. In your opinion, what material would be the best solution for the attic? I was thinking of PU foam boards and a wooden board to walk on.

This will not change significantly, because the demand (kWh) will be correspondingly high.
Have fun with that ;-)
How many percent savings of actual energy costs are expected? ;-)

More likely the most uneconomical solution. The house is from 2008!!!
Therefore, once again the question: How well is the ceiling insulated?

Hello E.Curb

Gypsum fiberboard 12.5mm
Isover insulation 150mm
Wood approx. 12mm

Just found at U-Wert.net
u=0.25Wm2/K
Moisture protection 90.3%
Drying time 114 days
At least no mold formation

Hi, 150 mm is already quite decent. The additional insulation will probably not have any significant effects. Regards
