Hello everyone and first of all, a quick hello to the group. So winter is approaching and I would now like to devote myself to a task that has been on my mind for a while. I want to insulate the basement ceiling from the inside in a house built in 1960. The rooms office (1 heating), laundry room and hallway no heating I wanted to equip the basement ceiling with insulation material, all in all about 25 sqm. The reason is that everything on the ground floor is tiled = cold floor in the living room, etc. What materials would be suitable here? I was thinking in the direction of Styrodur to put on the ceiling. What about mold or similar, do I have anything to worry about because the basement is kept rather cool? I am grateful for any tips. Regards Bert
