Insulating a cold roof, the best way at the knee wall

Hello, we are currently insulating the top concrete ceiling, it will be a cold roof with 26cm EPS insulation. My problem is how to best insulate the knee wall and the gaps around the beams, would stone wool be the better choice? Regards and thanks

Hello, we also have an uninsulated roof with an insulated top floor ceiling. It looks the same for us. The gaps were not insulated at all, but only fitted with fine mesh grids so that no critters can fly in. Why insulate... it's cold anyway. I actually like it that way... I dry my clothes under the roof and am glad that a bit of air passes through. Best regards, Steffi

Hello Steffi, thanks for your answer, I think you have helped me several times already, I am mainly concerned about the small triangle under the beam. Since I have to insulate 26 cm high, the wide gap between the roof beams will automatically disappear, but I am not sure how to do the corner under the beam, at the moment I can't think of anything other than insulating wool or another "fluffy" material.

with a backfill it would definitely have been easier and faster, good to know for next time
