It's a bit late for you since the construction work is already done, but I would have liked a centrally suspended ceiling with a lateral light ring above the couch in the living room. That probably would have suited you too. Then you could have put a pendant lamp or recessed spots centrally above the coffee table.

Yes... if I were handy (and motivated), one could certainly do something like that - simply hang down a construction about 15 cm and then control the indirect light with one switch and the built-in spots with the other... On the other hand, the outlets are already quite far apart from each other...

I have moved frequently in my life, nowhere has kept me for longer than three years. For me, I can say that finding the right lamp takes forever and is just annoying! Online shops mostly only deliver junk, exhibitions have everything except what you imagine.
As a result, in many apartments, at moving out, many rooms simply still had a socket with a (Spar) bulb :D

The topic of lamps is my absolute nemesis and I congratulate everyone who has already gone through this act :D

We decided on the "Eglo Palomaro" for the hallway and the dressing room. It comes in 3 sizes and 3 colors. Would that be something for your living room?

Looks interesting - it says that you can change the LED - what kind is it? Does the light dazzle when you look into it?

No, nothing really glares. But it is bright. Below is a milky plastic screen that refracts and distributes the light. You cannot change the LEDs directly; they are wired in place. Maybe you can replace the whole unit? The lamp consists of 3 parts. Lampshade, plastic cover, and a metal suspension on which the LEDs are mounted.
