Oh, I see,
I learned in the drywall course that wood is completely unsuitable because it can warp.
Standards and empirical values sometimes differ here and there.
I have been installing battens vertically successfully for 18 years.
For the 30 cm, there was at least one batten placed in front to be somewhat suitable for DIY purposes, so that with a 25 cm spacing you don't have to screw in even more battens.
No, seriously. I have no problem if someone corrects me or my views. And with a professional statement, you are certainly always on the right side. But a forum is meant for exchanging experience and opinions, and that's what I contributed to.
