Yes, that's true, but I really have to say we paid "so little" for assembly and delivery with roller shutter box. The French balcony can be bought built directly into the window, so nothing has to be attached outside. Please note: the prices I mentioned were for a package for new construction, meaning large quantities, openings are available and it will of course also be plastered externally, just as 11ant already wrote above.
