Inspiration for the floor plan "Bathroom"

Hello dear forum,

we are in the process of planning our house. Among other things, we had quite a hard time planning our bathroom. Attached is the current floor plan. Do you have any suggestions or tips?

The shower should be flush with the floor – is 110cm sufficient here? Possibly concerning "flooding" when showering? :-)

I find it very unpleasant that when the bathroom door is not completely closed, the view always falls on the toilet...

I recently faced the same question with the shower and expanded the dimension from 1.00 x 1.00 meters to 1.20 x 1.00 meters during the shell construction. I think it will just about work if I want to do without a shower door. If no shower door is to be installed later, try to enlarge the shower a bit. The fixtures could theoretically be swapped somehow. Bathtub where the shower and toilet are, and vice versa, depending on what fits better.

I think there will be splashes reaching into the bathtub here.

I would recommend moving the shower all the way forward to the wall next to the door, keeping the side entrance, and building a nearly ceiling-high wall between the shower and the adjacent toilet.

Then also change the door hinge to the other side so that the bathroom door opens against the built shower wall.

Hello, I completely agree with . I would also be bothered that the first glance falls directly on the toilet. The shower is actually almost 1.80m long "around the corner" from the entrance (110+68.5cm). There will probably be a few splashes on the bathtub, but that should not be a problem. You can try to implement Dirk's suggestion in a bathroom planner and take a look at the result.
