Hello, I have had two rows of five flush-mounted boxes for power, LAN, and TV installed on the walls in our future living room. The boxes are located in two rows one above the other about 30 cm above the floor in the middle of the room.
These are the partition walls to the neighbor (mid-terrace house). The walls consist of 2x17.5 cm Poroton soundproof bricks with 4 cm of mineral wool in between.
Our expert said yesterday that he doesn’t like to see something like this because the soundproofing suffers, especially if the neighbor has the same idea. Unfortunately, nobody pointed this out to me during the electrical planning, and I would never have thought of it myself.
Can this actually lead to noticeable losses in sound insulation?
