Infiltration basins are public and actually not intended for the drainage of properties. I would suggest calling the building authority or the water association near you. This topic should be part of their daily business.

Go to the head of the responsible lower water authority and ask him for a sensible solution. Here, the very friendly municipal employees knew the conditions and we investigated in advance what would be approvable. We live mostly on rock, so little seeps away. In the end, we built a soakaway of agreed dimensions under the first part of the driveway, where there was the least rock and the lowest part of the property. The pipes to it were long and we needed 2 additional shafts. Talking helps a lot after all. You can clarify such things well on site.

We are required to install infiltration trenches throughout the entire construction area and have accordingly completed them.
Depending on the manufacturer and type of infiltration trench, the costs are manageable. We decided against basket trenches and opted for a standard 6m pipe trench. Installed at a depth of 2m, the price including everything is around 2,000 EUR. It pays to compare, as especially with basket trenches, offers varied between 3,500 and 5,500 EUR.

The lower water authority referred me to the municipal utilities (allegedly not responsible) and there a lady told me on the phone that theoretically we could do whatever we want. It would be our problem if our house was standing in puddles. She only recommended building a cistern. Speaking personally or on site with someone is not possible; here all offices still have no public access. And the building advice/building service department is closed... it’s enough to drive you crazy.

Well then, just channel everything into the sewage system. You can still consider the cistern.
