infiltration basin

Hello,
I would like to know who of you has decided on a [Versickerungsmulde] and especially what the thing looks like? I am still torn between a [Mulde] and a [Retentionszisterne]. The [Mulde] would take up a corner of our property and therefore wouldn't be very bothersome. A [Zisterne] probably only pays off after decades. The question for me is also how one could beautify the [Mulde] (stones, grasses, etc)?
How did you decide?

We are currently planning an infiltration trench (Sickertunnel), which you won’t even see later on. According to the offers, a swale and cistern would be more expensive for me.

sickertunnel is certainly the best option. Unfortunately, it is usually not shown in comparisons, although it has many advantages. It also works with relatively high groundwater, you don't have to dig deep, and you can easily enlarge the infiltration on your own (simply by adding another tunnel...). The trench is a large part of the property, which must be deeper than the rest of the property and MUST NOT be located at the boundary. (otherwise the water would run to the neighbor, which is not allowed) You should really think carefully about it or have a huge property with practically a forest attached. For typical properties around 600-800sqm, it is not particularly nice in flat terrain.
