Mid-sized corporate bonds are, in my opinion, completely inappropriate here and reserved for investors who have "extra" money.
Well then - I did write that there are risks in this segment and that you need to be well acquainted with it or have an advisor who knows the subject.
Last night I took a look at the papers I have had over the last 2-3 years and those I follow somewhat. The prices barely fell or only minimally (they are usually all > 100%).
I was also able to observe that interest rates have moved up a bit. I tend to watch short-term interest rates - but the 1-month Euribor has moved above 0.00 again after a long time.
In my personal opinion, the risk of the ETFs recommended here (over a period of 2-3 years) is significantly greater than with properly checked and selected mid-sized companies (of course, with an emerging market ETF the chances are also significantly greater).
