Hello dear ones,

since there is nothing here yet on the topic of insurance (well, I didn't find anything ) I'm inaugurating the page!

So, since things are about to start for us soon, we naturally asked ourselves WHICH insurances are important for us WHEN?!
Maybe there is one or the other tip from those experienced???

We would be very happy to hear from you
Best regards JJ

I currently assume at least two "mandatory" insurances:

1. Construction all-risk insurance
2. Building insurance including fire shell insurance

For both insurances, I calculate an annual amount of about 400 euros at first; after that, the construction all-risk insurance is no longer needed. 250 euros annual amount remains in the building insurance.

After moving in, maybe household insurance makes sense.

Unfortunately, my regular insurer with the 4 big letters (inexpensive and local) does not offer construction all-risk insurance. Which company is recommended here (payment reliability, etc.)??

In addition

3. Builder's liability insurance

All together I have now seen this at an agency recommended by Finanztest for just under 300 euros.

Hello,
our event is also starting soon and I have also wondered which insurances are needed and which are not.
Does a household insurance also cover the property around the house? For example, the bicycles that are parked by the house wall or something like that? And which household insurance would you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help.

A nice hello,

* Bauherrenhaftpflicht: mandatory (already from land purchase)
* Bauleistungsversicherung: depends on the contractual arrangement with the general contractor
* Wohngebäude inkl. 24 Monate kostenfreie Feuerrohbau, WG selbst mit Einzugstermin beginnend. : mandatory
* Unfallversicherung für Bauherren und Bauhelfer: unfortunately often forgotten, but mandatory

* Glass, as mentioned by a predecessor, I personally consider negligible as long as there are no panorama panes, historically valuable glass collections, or conservatories. Windows are included in the WG and household contents anyway. Except in case of own fault.

The question of bicycles in household contents and other items in outdoor areas depends, as with many things, on the chosen contract partner and tariff.

Good advice before conclusion proves extremely useful in case of damage. It’s of little use, for example, to have had "the cheapest" online direct insurer contribution for 10 years if no payment is made in case of damage.

Questions? - Gladly, also as PM

Advice - but fair!

In general, I would recommend only choosing insurance policies that have awards or have been tested. This way, you can at least be reasonably sure.
