IKEA Yttran - The mixer lever is a bit wobbly - is that normal?

we have changed our mixer tap in the kitchen a few days ago and installed the YTTRAN mixer tap/kitchen, chrome-plated - without pull-out hose.

So far so good, but one question remains:

Is it normal that the mixing lever, which can be moved from cold to hot, wobbles slightly or has some *play*?
The is such that you can move it slightly back and forth if you touch and move it sideways. Not much, but noticeable.
I have never experienced that with any other faucet before.

We previously had a Grohe faucet, only installed for a short time, but then sold it because it had quite a high spout and we didn’t like that in hindsight. That mixing lever was firm and had no play.

Who can say something about this mixing lever?

And the further question:
If I want to replace the faucet, how does that work? I obviously can’t remove it beforehand and take it to Ikea? Do they give me a faucet first and I bring the replaced one back in the next few days?

I do not know Yttran - but all single-lever faucets I am familiar with have a screw that fixes the mixing lever to the cartridge (usually a small Allen screw). If it is loose, the top part can wobble. Such screws are often hidden under covers (e.g. the hot-cold marking or similar). The Yttran catalog image shows no cover - maybe there is something on the back side?

thank you very much.
That's exactly how it is and I had almost thought so myself, but I wasn't sure.
I had already seen before that there is a small chrome-plated metal cover in the rear area of the mixing lever, about 5-6 mm in diameter.
Thanks to your hint, I have now tried to remove this cover, which was not so easy. You had to push it from the inside out below the mixing lever with a flat screwdriver.
Then you can actually see a small screw behind it and that will be it. You probably have to tighten it more, but that fails again....
Because this screw has a special shape and although I have almost all common screwdrivers, I don’t have exactly this shape to tighten this screw.

Anyway, the faucet couldn’t convince us 100% anyway, so Ikea will get it back next week.
We have already ordered a Grohe faucet (similar in design to the Yttran), you know what you get there and ultimately have it safely for many years. We previously had a Grohe faucet in the kitchen too, only for a few months, but it had a fairly high spout (C-shaped) and that wasn’t so practical because it often splashed. Then we happened to see the Yttran at Ikea and bought it and swapped it for the Grohe.
It was a less convincing detour to an Ikea faucet.

In future, Grohe again, no ifs or buts.

The screw might require a 2.5mm Allen key.

Tried everything, unfortunately it doesn't fit.
Allen key, is always one of the first things I try with Ikea products

But whatever, the faucet will be returned.
In this segment, you have to prefer other products for better quality.

It doesn't matter at all whether that's normal or not. If the mixer tap wobbles, get a different faucet, if necessary not from a furniture store.
