IKEA SMAKRIK EM Built-in Espresso Machine

I have a question. I am currently putting together a Faktum kitchen. Now I have seen the SMAKRIK EM built-in espresso machine at Ikea. Somehow I find this item appealing. But it is not worth it for me just for espresso. Can you also make regular coffee with this SMAKRIK?

I am pretty sure that there is only one insert for regular "Krümel" coffee, nothing for pods. Neither regular coffee nor espresso.

According to the description on the [Internetseite], the machine would also work with pads:

The machine works with both powder and pads! She probably doesn't care at all which manufacturer the pads come from...

So, I now have this machine standing in my cupboard. YES, pads (all ESE pads) work with it. However, anyone who wants to install it in a cupboard should also buy a baseboard and cut it exactly in the middle lengthwise, because the espresso machine leaves a hole about 8-9 cm above the machine.

I have a 211 cm tall cupboard for the stove and microwave/espresso machine. The instructions for the EM also point out that you should buy something like this. Really terrible, IKEA could have told me beforehand.

And if you want espresso, you have to wait 30 minutes after switching it on before you can make coffee.

The 9.4 cm wide finishing panel is included with the cabinet, right? Or does an additional one need to go under the panel?
