Hello,
I took a photo for you. If you were to place the EM upwards, you would have the hole at the bottom or, as it is with me now, above the device.
So I had imagined the device a little better. I am used to pressing a button on the pad machines, the amount of water runs through and then automatically stops the program.
With the SMAKRIK, you have to stay there and press the water button again after the desired amount to make it stop.
I learned today that ESE pads are harder pads. The normal pads, available everywhere, are a bit too big for use with the Smakrik. You have to press them into the pad holder so that the edges of the pad do not stick out; otherwise, the device does not close properly and the brew runs past the handle on the right and left sides.
And the longer you wait, the hotter the coffee water becomes. As I already mentioned, wait 30 minutes after switching on. Which does not mean that only cold coffee comes out immediately after switching on the device.
