Which screws are best to attach the wall rail? I wanted to use regular 7cm hex screws, but the hole in the rail itself seems very large to me even with this metal plate lock ??

The holes must be large because it is hardly possible to drill exactly on a horizontal line, and only in this way can the rail still be aligned. Regarding the holes, the diameter matters, not the length of the screws. A hex head may no longer fit through the hole of the lock.

Hanging up worked super easily with the rail! And even though I have the rail very close to the ceiling (drill holes 6cm from the ceiling), there were no problems, even hooking it up went super smoothly!
