Hello,

we have a big problem assembling the Pax Anstad sliding doors.

Four plastic panes need to be installed into one frame. The problem now is that, after the panes are inserted with the intermediate strips, the last side part of the frame cannot be installed because the panes are apparently "a little too wide," so that about 5mm stick out at the end, making the right side part not fit.

Can anyone help with this?

I will try to upload pictures tomorrow to make the problem clearer.

Regards

Tobias

Are the individual elements also inserted correctly? That is, completely?

Have you measured the individual elements, is maybe one larger than the others?
Are the elements installed in the correct order, that is numbered?

If all questions lead to no result, then something is wrong, i.e. go to Ikea and exchange.

So I assembled my doors yesterday. I had exactly the same problem with one door, the only solution is: take it apart and assemble it again. Otherwise, fix small irregularities by pulling on the sides and by tightening the screws it will be straight and fit perfectly.

Hope this helps. Best regards

Hello everyone,
I also bought the Anstad sliding doors in 2m x 2.36m last week.

The ceiling height is not very high and we had to assemble the cabinet standing up. That worked great and we were also able to insert the sliding doors from the side. (Beforehand, the right stopper had to be removed from the upper running rail).

The right "lower" door runs perfectly.

Now to my problem:
The left "upper" door squeaks on its own (not only when sliding - just when I touch a part of the door), even though everything was assembled the same way as the right door.
When I try to open this door with a slight swing, it cracks twice quite loudly.
If I open it slowly, it is not always like that.
However, if I pull the door slightly down or apply light pressure to the upper right fitting, it runs smoothly --> except for these squeaking noises.

I hope I have explained this clearly.

Who can help me with this? Where does the cracking and these noises come from?
I have secured the wardrobe itself to the wall with two screws; should it be fastened with two more?
Or will these noises disappear once I install the interior (shelves, drawers, and clothes rail)?

I would be very happy to receive answers.

Thank you very much and best regards
Juney

Hello

I have a huge problem with the Pax wardrobe and the sliding doors instead I just can’t get this blue film off the doors, everything is stuck in the corners and I already stood here for 5 hours today trying to get it off, but nothing helps In the instructions it explicitly states to remove the film only after the sliding doors are fully assembled. Do you have any tips for me? I am desperate!!!

Many thanks!

Best regards Kristin

Even though this post is already older, the problem is still relevant today and can be found very high in the Google results, therefore..

Here is our solution:
We connected the panels. Then we wrapped a tension belt lengthwise around all of them until the screw holes aligned properly.
We did the same when screwing together the individual elements.
In total, 3 tension belts were used. Two were used lengthwise and then a short one to screw the rail elements together.

Our next problem occurred when hanging the doors. This was only possible by removing the right stopper and sliding them in.

The highlight was that one of the guide brackets at the top was not a clean U shape, but one side was bent inward. The bracket had to be bent open so that the distance increased and the doors could slide past each other cleanly.

Fortunately, one of us had good nerves and never gave up.

Have fun assembling.
