So electromagnetic fields hum and buzz? That would be bad with all the fields surrounding us. Now I'm being a bit nitpicky. The electromagnetic alternating field can cause the pots to vibrate. This results in humming and buzzing noises. Depending on the cookware, this can be more or less.

Well, that's just how it is, ever walked past a transformer station or substation.
It's not just the pot that "vibrates," but also the coils.

You are right, coils can also oscillate, but it is always mechanical vibrations that allow us to hear something.

Thanks for your tips and so on. The oven and stove work. The thing with the stove is indeed that it only makes loud noises if the cookware was empty and you turned the stove up full blast. But for testing, I only had empty pans/pots on it :)
