Hello,
I am looking for a black / dark chest of drawers. Actually, the large Hemnes chest of drawers with 6/8 drawers is ideal,
unfortunately I have noticed several times that the drawers in the Hemnes series are very wobbly.
Especially compared to Nordli, where the drawers close quietly and are much, much firmer.

Is there anything that can be done about this? Unfortunately, Nordli is not available in black, otherwise the case would be clear.

Thanks for your ideas

Hello, NORDLI is made of particleboard, HEMNES of solid wood. The drawers appear wobbly with HEMNES because they have roller drawer slides. This is not bad and you will still be able to get replacements after several years if something breaks. NORDLI uses (not very high-quality) undermount slides. Finding suitable replacements can sometimes be much more difficult. For roller drawer slides, there are soft-close self-closing mechanisms available for retrofitting, but they do not increase lateral stability.

You could assemble a METOD cabinet as a dresser.
