For years I have been a satisfied owner of the Ikea-Family-Card. Only recently did I realize that the IKEA-Family-Card and the IKEA-Payment-Card are two different things.
What do you mean?
Quite simple: When my address changed, I updated it online under the IKEA-Family-Card. However, since I found no way to change my account details there, I called the hotline, which then informed me that I had to provide the new data to IKANO Bank by phone. Which I did.
However, no one had told me that I also had to have my address data changed at IKANO Bank.
For me, this is not apparent anywhere when you change the data for the IKEA-Family-Card.
Now I have been charged €5 for the return of the new IKEA-Payment-Card – and the card has also been blocked due to the neglected address change. Until then, my purchases had always been debited from my current account without any problems.
A great service from IKEA. Thank you very much.
