Hello,

I took over a Faktum kitchen when I moved, in a tall cabinet directly next to the countertop there is a fridge/freezer combination, which I would now like to replace with a freestanding one.

Can I simply dismantle the cabinet? As mentioned, the countertop adjoins it, and there is a wall cabinet hanging above.

Hello, yes you can, unless the wall cabinet was not properly mounted on the wall and only screwed to the tall cabinet. However, that is not very likely.

Hello, thanks for the reply.

Can / must the end panel then remain attached to the countertop or is it already part of the cabinet?
To me, it looks like a cover panel.

The cover panel should be screwed from the inside to the body of the tall cabinet.
