Hello,

I recently "inherited" an Ikea kitchen (aka took over during a move) and it includes, among other things, a base cabinet with a pull-out drawer. So far, I’m still a bit puzzled about what to put in there; somehow I can’t figure out the ideal “contents.” What do you typically put in there? Thanks for any enlightenment!

I also have a cabinet like that. Mine is next to the stove. In the top drawer, I have smaller cutting boards/breakfast boards, in the second drawer, baking paper, aluminum foil, cling film, and also the roll for garbage bags Yellow Sack and organic waste bin, in the bottom drawer I have vinegar and oil, ketchup, and behind that a few juice bottles. But you can also set up a small cleaning cabinet. At the bottom, all the bottles like Atta, glass cleaner, rinse aid... middle drawer, dish soap, dishwasher tabs/powder, Ceranfix, scouring sponge..., top drawer dishcloths, kitchen towels, paper towels..... or supplies, the dishes.... you can easily unscrew the middle drawer and reattach it at the appropriate height. Best regards Nordkäppchen

Very practical for bottles. We also built a small spice compartment in the upper drawer. Below that, 2 drawers with cookware (whisk, cooking spoon, spatula...) and in the bottom drawer we have dishwasher tablets and similar items. It would also work with a normal drawer cabinet, but that is (was) not available in 30 cm width.
