Ikea Expedit TV wall assembly problems

Since we didn’t have a car, we had the Expedit TV wall delivered on Friday.
Today we wanted to assemble it.
But after a short time the first dowel wouldn’t go in anymore. The pressing caused the dowel to break off as well.
We then painstakingly picked it out and already decided to use only 3 instead of 4 dowels because the last hole wouldn’t accept a dowel.
So we continued and bam, the next dowel wouldn’t fit either. It wouldn’t slide into the hole.
Of course, today is Sunday and you can’t reach anyone at Ikea.
Either the holes are sloppily cut or the dowels are too thick... or both.
What can you do? Does Ikea take back this junk? Do you get something new? Does someone come to assemble it?

Stupid question: Have you already made sure that two different sized dowels need to be used for this piece of furniture and that the correct ones were taken? Otherwise, pack everything up and bring it back, you will get a new one.

Yes, there are "long" and "short" ones
We also paid attention to that. It just seems to us as if they all have a different thickness
And just packing and driving over is not possible since we don't have a car. That's why we paid extra for the delivery service :confused:
I'll call tomorrow to see if we can get a few more dowels. We also broke 2
