We want to buy the IKEA Backabro sofa with chaise lounge. There are two covers in beige:
Tygelsjö beige for €599:
Risane natur for €799:
The only difference seems to be in the upholstery fabric:
Cover for sofa bed with chaise lounge:
Tygelsjö: Total composition: 65% polyester, 35% cotton
Risane: Total composition: 53% linen, 47% viscose
My question:
How does the different composition affect everyday life (linen/viscose versus polyester/cotton)?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two?
In the past, one of them was said not to be washable (if I remember correctly). That is no longer the case. A few months ago, at an IKEA, the salesperson hinted that the cheaper one is the better one. However, I foolishly did not follow up because the decision for Backabro had not yet been made (we initially wanted to get Vilasund).
Can someone help me with the decision-making?
