Hello Ikea friends!
I still have very old Curver boxes, I think they are at least 20 years old. Indestructible, dishwasher safe, they are great to close, they just work. At some point Curver changed the system, the lids were then somehow two-tone and more oval. That was the end of easy closing, just much worse, no comparison to the earlier version ... :(
Since then I have been looking for an equivalent and reasonably functioning replacement for the decades-old Curver boxes.
My joy was great when I discovered the 365 boxes at Ikea some time ago.
At first I was totally enthusiastic about these IKEA boxes. Meanwhile, I have many such IKEA 365 boxes that have a reddish discoloration inside. There used to be tomato sauce or goulash or other "staining" foods inside. These boxes no longer get clean! Neither in the dishwasher nor by hand, soaking etc. all in vain, the plastic is discolored! Now you can of course think about, if tomato sauce gets into the plastic, what else is stored in the plastic ... onion smell, good, bad and spoiled etc. ... well - I am not so sensitive, only the boxes look anything but appetizing.
What experiences do you have with the 365 boxes?
Does 365 mean after more than 365 days you have to throw away these not exactly cheap parts?
I am already curious about your experiences.
