Idea generation for the design of the base area of the house

The subsoil has been excavated, filled with stones, and secured. So the area is very permeable to water. It can't be any other way because behind the gray base plaster is the floor slab. The thing with the lightning protection sounds somewhat plausible. Especially since I have already wondered why people no longer install lightning rods on houses today. Dimpled membrane (I know the one made of a harder black plastic, I don't know the name) is sufficient. And only that, so that the base of the wall is not damaged by the stones.
If back then the excavation was one meter larger than the slab all around and filled with sand, you don't have to worry about anything else.

I also wondered about the insulation. According to the construction company and various videos, this is apparently no longer done. XPS should be sufficient...
