Hello everyone,

we want to install a bathtub at a 45° angle to the wall. (an approximate model of the bathroom - see picture)
Now we are figuring out which faucet makes the most sense here.

Considerations include the following:
- Rim-mounted faucet is expensive and should be something good, hard to reach for repairs, but a nice thing.
- Surface-mounted/concealed faucet on a wall would have to be quite long to reach the bathtub.
- Raise the rear installation and install a faucet here - doesn’t look so nice (in our opinion)
- Freestanding faucet and build the rear shelf around it (reasonable?)

Now I just want to ask if any of you have a good idea!?
I would appreciate any contribution...
Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Jochen

A different bathroom design with a straight bathtub would help :)

True, a different bathroom design would help, but it is not desired. After all, anyone can do something simple. ;)

We have such a solution with a raised front panel behind the bathtub. The bathtub faucet is also installed there. The front panel serves as a storage space for bathing accessories.

Is also implemented like this with us.
Pre-wall/extension in the corner, with the faucet attached to it and a hexagonal bathtub in front.

Does the room have a slant? Otherwise, I don't see the advantage (so it would just come forward a bit). You have a lot of surface area that collects dust and less space in the bathroom.
