How to place the house on the plot - tips requested :-)

Actually, we wanted to place the house with the Frisian gable facing the street

Otherwise, it would actually be the opposite - such a gable belongs on the eaves side parallel to the street, otherwise you degrade it to canned folklore.

If we had rotated the house, we would probably have done without it and chosen a single-family house or a captain’s gable facing the garden to the west.
